I have just recovered from a pretty serious back strain and I was starting my strength journey by doing the starting strength program.

After a couple of months of progression in 2015, I had experienced some very irritating trap tightness, constant quad soreness, constant back soreness and annoying forearm tightness.

I was getting stronger. Sure.

But my constant ailments were growing and I felt like I needed more than just the gym foam roller. I felt like I needed more than just the standard static and dynamic stretches.

Sure, there was some minor relief in the tight area but the area was still tight and I wanted to experience some sort of relief.

And I was not made of money either. So, going to get massages was definitely out of the question.
