What is a Thera Cane Massager
The Thera Cane Massager is a therapeutic massager that allows you to apply pressure to treat any muscular pains, dysfunctions or abnormalities. It is especially easy to reach the top of your shoulders, necks, low back, mid back and legs. Because of its varied and strategically placed projections, it allows you to reach hard to find areas on your body. It is the addition of the specially placed projections with the treatment ball that gives the Thera Cane Massager the edge in self care and gives you the extra added muscle relaxing capability.
The Thera Cane Massager is a uniquely designed manual massager meant to give you total control of the effectiveness of your massage. Using the heavy compression from the massage balls directly to the knotted trigger points, you will get a much quicker release of the muscular tension. The pressure applied directly on the muscle encourages more blood flow, which increases your relaxation time.

How to use a Thera Cane Massager
The Thera Cane Massager is held with your hands at either end, one providing directional control and the other acting as a pivot. Find the area of pain, discomfort or tension. Allow your body weight, not your muscles or strength, to provide the pressure for the release. Hold that position, with the Thera Cane Massager directly on your skin, for three to five minutes through multiple pressure releases.
Begin by applying light pressure for short periods of time as your muscles will require a break in between. Start off with just a minute or two a few times a day. If you do overdo your massage, you will likely hurt more than what you felt before. This discomfort will usually go away after a good night of sleep or within 12-36 hours. A long hot shower will also make you feel better and speed up recovery. As you become more experienced with handling your Thera Cane Massager, you will be able to use as much pressure as you like for extended periods of time.
Some key takeaways of good Thera Cane Massager Practices:
- If a tender point on your muscle seems extra sensitive, massage the surrounding area before working on the more tender spot.
- Try different methods when applying pressure with varying angles, intensities and rhythms. For example, applying steady pressure versus maintaining direct pressure while moving the ball slowly across the targetted muscle can have dramatically different effects. A gentle wiggle can help you burrow into an affected area.

Thera Cane Massager Reviews
I have purchased my own thera cane massager in 2015.
I have just recovered from a pretty serious back strain and I was starting my strength journey by doing the starting strength program.
After a couple of months of progression in 2015, I had experienced some very irritating trap tightness, constant quad soreness, constant back soreness and annoying forearm tightness.
I was getting stronger. Sure.
But my constant ailments were growing and I felt like I needed more than just the gym foam roller. I felt like I needed more than just the standard static and dynamic stretches.
Sure, there was some minor relief in the tight area but the area was still tight and I wanted to experience some sort of relief.
And I was not made of money either. So, going to get massages was definitely out of the question.
So, I went to Amazon and browsed for something, anything that was different from what was provided in the gym and was affordable. I found the Thera cane massager and decided to experiment. Why not?
That was one of the best purchases I made in the past.
For me, I tend to develop tight knots in my traps and back. Sometimes, I also get extremely tight forearms and sore quads.
Although hand massages and herbal oils do help, they are more expensive and does not really get the job done. My traps would remain tight, with the hand massages only providing barely an hour of relief.
I would need to get assistance from my family or get a foam roller for my back tightness but it never seems to really hit the spots I need. My forearms and quads do not experience much relief after hand massages as well.
However, after using the thera cane massager, I can use more leverage and control the amount of pressure applied to certain areas with extremely minimal efforts.
I can now say that I really saved a ton of money and can continue to develop my physique and strength. This device has provided me a ton of relief and I do feel that it can benefit everyone who purchases this item.
It is now 2018 and I still do not see any signs of aging on the device. Six months ago, I have even recommended it to my uncle, who works a very labor intensive job.
Not only did my uncle experience relief in his traps and back, his wife also INSTANTLY experienced relief in her neck and traps when applying pressure to those areas.
And the best part of all. It is extremely reasonable in price.
Affordable relief in your fingertips. Saving money and taking control of your recovery. Being proactive about how your body is feeling.
