December 28th 2018

You may know him as the “Mad Scientist.” Accomplished powerlifter? Coach? Gym Owner? Engineer?

Quadruple check.

And his impressive lifts to date?

  • Guinness World Record for most weight deadlifted in a minute at 17,010 pounds (42 reps in 1 minute)
  • In 2014, a raw total of 2061 lbs at 220 pounds bodyweight
  • Only man to deadlift 1000+ lbs for a double

And his most impressive deadlift?

675x20 deadlift is easily my biggest feat of Strength & Work Capacity I have done. What's funny is it wasn't planned or prepped for... I just had a dream one night that I could pull 675x20 sumo followed by 10 conventional immediately afterwards. So I woke up, rushed into the gym, and did it. The only thing I regret is not resting longer before the second set - the weight was moving so well on conventional that I'm positive I could have finished 20 of those as well...but had to stop short to go dry heave in the sink before morning staff meeting ? ***** Our vision is to make the world a better place through strength. ??strength equipment ??research-based education ??world-class strength coaching ??philanthropy ??evidence based supplementation ***** Now offering 6-12mo 0% interest financing through Klarna, pending approval. ***** Once you nail Nutrition and Training first for your supplementation needs check out @BuildFastFormula . You seen it right.

A 675 lbs sumo deadlift for 20. Followed by a 675 lbs conventional deadlift for 10.

What do you think about his pull? What is next for this mad man!
