Cailer Woolam deadlifts 915lbs

December 29th 2018

You may know him by his alter-ego, Dr. Deadlift.

He weighed around 214lbs that day. And dominated.

915lbs/415kg for the win yesterday weighed in at 214. @hybridperformancemethodgym Needless to say my favorite part about this whole lifting thing is getting to meet and hangout with some awesome people. I can't say enough good things about the event the Hybrid team put on this weekend. I'm very thankful I got to be a part of it. I hope they keep getting these kinda of things together. Thank you everyone who came out to watch us lift and support the event! Thank you to @thekilocartel for everything they did to help me get out here. Thank you @mbslingshot for the donation to the meet. I can't wait for the next one! @herbstrong @riseperformanceus

This may not be his best deadlift but it is still incredible.

Cailer Woolam’s best deadlift was during the World Raw Powerlifting Federation (WRPF) World Championships, which was held in Moscow, Russia. Cailer Woolam competed in the 100kg/220lb weight class and absolutely crushed the competition.

Cailer Woolam deadlifted an impressive 430kg/946lbs. ON HIS SECOND ATTEMPT.

948lbs/430kg to break the 100kg all time world record ..again lol. 2nd attempt deadlift. Heaviest deadlift in competition by any American ever Reguardless of gear or weigh class. And it secured me a 2001lb total in sleeves @ 98kgbw. Happy I was able to make it happen on the other side of the world in a different time zone. 4th meet in a row to break an all time world record. I am beyond pleased to walk away with a PR total after all of my Injuries and setbacks this year. And with little to no squat training leading up to the meet. The challenge of traveling across the world and competing was very hard, but I did my best to show up and do what I could do. Easier off the ground with the big plates. But very very hard to control the bar whip at the top for those wondering. Amazing meet here in Moscow! #wrpfworldchampionship @thekilocartel @mbslingshot @powerhousenutritionlbk @herbstrong

Cailer Woolam did try go one step further and deadlift 440kg/970lbs. However, he missed both the 3rd and 4th attempt.

Regardless, Cailer Woolam already claimed the 100kg/220lbs all-time deadlift record and continues to break his own records. Will Cailer Woolam deadlift over 1000lbs in a 2019 meet? It sure looks that way…
